Chief economist of the Institute for International Trade and Investment(ITI).

Noriyoshi EHARAis the chief economist of the Institute for International Trade and Investment(ITI).He once worked in Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).He was founder and presidentof JETRO Dalian,presidentof JETRO Beijingand was appointed as Representative Director of the Japan Pavilion / Vice Government Representative of 2010 Shanghai EXPO.

His fields of study include: China and Asia economy, Japan-China economic relations, One Belt One Road economy, China’s Partnershipetc..His research themes include: New type of the One Belt One Road FTA on the basis of Partnership, relations between the One Belt One Road Initiative and formulation of new international relationship / reform of global governance, significance of promoting the One Belt One Road Initiative and holding 2030 EXPO in China, China's reform and opening-up policy and the One Belt One Road Initiative. 

He is the organizer of Initiative Study Group in ITI,vice president ofASIA Eurasia Institute, vice chairmanand auditor of Japan-China Relations Association, originatorof One Belt and One Road Initiative Japan Research Center, managing directorof the Japan - China Society, and special adviser of Tokyo Japan - China Friendship Association.

He is aglobal advisor of the Silk Road Cities Alliance and special research fellow of the SRCA Academy. He is also an honorary citizen of Lvshun,Dalian, China(1998)and an overseas advisor of Yantai Government, Shandong, China(2009).

His books include:Drive in China, 36 scenes in China economy,What was Shanghai Expo, a Eurasia New Era road opened up by One belt One road initiative etc.
