An Indonesian expert said in a recent interview with Xinhua that China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) will improve existing global system.
Jusuf Wanandi, founder of Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), an Indonesian leading think thank, acknowledged the importance of BRI.
The veteran expert remembered very well, China invited world leaders two years ago in Beijing for the first Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. The forum drew more than 130 countries. 29 foreign heads of state and government attended the forum, including Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
