BEIJING, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- The X9003 China-Europe freight train loaded with Hanzhong tea, agricultural and sideline products departed from Xi'an International Trade & Logistics Park and headed all the way west to Tashkent, Uzbekistan Saturday, reported Xi'an Daily.

This train is the first China-Europe freight train which mainly carries tea in Shaanxi Province in 2022. The loaded tea comes from Xixiang, a beautiful town with tea planting as the pillar industry.


China Railway Xi'an Group has set a Tea Transport Working Group at Xixiang Station, with remote command, offline guidance, the staff assisted companies to finalize the best loading plan to ensure the safe, fast and smooth transportation of tea exports.


Currently, there are 16 China-Europe freight trains departing from Xi'an International Trade & Logistics Park, fully covering the Eurasian continent. It is learned that the tea taken this time can achieve sales revenue of 161,600 U.S. dollars.
